Okay, here I go again. After much thought and assessment, I have decided to get back on the wagon that I have fallen off of so many times. I don't know why my weight has yo-yo'd so much but this much I do know, you have to be willing to put in the work. I cannot expect to lose weight when I don't eat the right things or get the exercise that I need. So, I am officially back in the saddle. Yee Haw!
I have officially gained 20 of the 48 lbs that I lost last year. I can't believe that I allowed myself to "go back", something I vowed I wouldn't do. Well, enough is enough! I did not do all of that work for nothing. I have decided to follow the weight watcher program again. I, however, am not going to the meetings. I've been on the plan 3 times already and I know what to do. I'm trying the at-home method for now and have committed to working out on the elliptical at least 3-4 times per week. This is what helped me get the weight off in the first place. I have my mom and this blog to keep me accountable. I weighed in this morning at 186.8 lbs.
I have decided to make mini-goals instead of looking at the larger overall number so that I don't get overwhelmed. I hope to average around 2 lbs a week. So by my parents 35th wedding anniversary, June 28th, I hope to be down 10 lbs. Keep me in your prayers! The journey continues.....
