Another year older

Well, I just celebrated my 32nd birthday. It was great. I feel so good in this slimmer body. Since my actual birthday fell on Sunday, we knew that we'd be busy much of the day so we celebrated on Saturday.

I went to my weight watchers meeting first thing. I usually leave just before 7am to ensure that I get a seat for the 7:30 mtg. There are over 100+ people that come to the meeting that I attend. If you're late, you ususally have to stand. Anyway, I was very pleased at my weigh in, 1.4 lbs lost this week. Whoo Hoo! I then went to get my hair done at the beauty school. It was so relaxing. Ms. China Ellis can really rock some hair.

Taurus and I kind of goofed off a little bit, playing around the house. We went to dinner at Furr's Fresh Buffet. They have a lot of healthy options, however, since it was my birthday, I did splurge and have some fried catfish and a slice of chocolate cake. Not to worry, I'm working it off all week. I increased my workouts from 30 minutes to 45 minutes on the elliptical. Then we took the girls to mom and dad's so that we could have some much needed "alone time". It was a great day.

In addition, Taurus bought me the clothes and a cell phone. So it was a great birthday. Then on Sunday, we had life group after church and everyone sang Happy Birthday. We had cake and I got a couple of unexpected gifts. God Rocks!! I had a wonderful 32nd birthday.
